I quit my job in July to spend more time cultivating my artist self. A six month sabbatical to study textile arts, travel, and figure out my next career move. And now begins the big journey: a six week tour of Asia, centered around textile arts. The first leg is a few days in San Francisco, a favorite travel destination of mine. Next week: Hong Kong. I'm bunked at a hostel near Union square next to an intersection full of honking cars. I've been blessed with two days in a row with zero line at Bi-rite creamery, a lovely visit to Kabuki Springs and Spa, and a very short line at Tartine.
So welcome to my new personal blog, which will be a mix of all the things I do, from textile arts, to software, to circus and whatever is on my mind. I'll be posting a few later-blog items detailing my recent travels to New York, as well as some textile arts inspiration from last fall's trip to Japan.
